Celebrating the Fall Equinox

As the golden light of autumn settles in and the leaves begin to turn, the Fall Equinox reminds us that life is cyclical. Just as farmers gather their harvest before winter, we are invited to pause and gather the fruits of our own labor. The growth, lessons, and quiet victories we’ve cultivated throughout the year deserve our celebration.

Today, September 22, 2025, we welcome the Autumn season in the Northern Hemisphere. This season isn’t only about reflection, though! It’s also about planting new seeds, even as nature begins to rest. What you dream about and set intentions for now can grow roots during the darker months and blossom with fresh energy come spring.

Reflecting on Your Harvest

Before racing ahead, take time to honor how far you’ve come. Maybe your harvest looks like a career milestone, a relationship you’ve nurtured, or even subtle inner growth, like choosing kindness toward yourself more often. As Bobby Brown once crooned, “Every little step I take” matters in your life.

Reflection is a powerful way to shift from “never enough” to “look at what I’ve already created.” Gratitude strengthens us, making the road ahead lighter.

Ways to Celebrate Your Harvest:

  • Light a candle at sunset and write down 3 accomplishments from this year you feel proud of.
  • Share your gratitude with someone who supported your growth.
  • Treat yourself with a symbolic gift—flowers, a new journal, or a quiet afternoon walk to mark your season of progress.

Planting New Seeds for the Future

Just because the year is winding down doesn’t mean your intentions should. The Fall Equinox is a perfect moment to decide what you’d like to call in for the next season of your life. These intentions are like seeds: they may not sprout overnight, but with patience and care, they will bloom in time.

Think of these seeds as hopes you’re gently placing in the soil of your spirit. Some will be ready to grow this winter, others will rest until the light returns. Trust the rhythm.

Ways to Plant New Seeds:

  • Write down one area of life you’d like to shift (career, relationships, health, creativity). Beside it, jot one tiny step you can take this month.
  • Create an affirmation to carry you into autumn, such as: “I honor the balance of rest and growth within me.”
  • Place a symbolic object (like an acorn, stone, or crystal) somewhere visible as a reminder of your new seed.

Fall 2025 Invitation

The Season of Harvest invites you to honor both your progress and your potential. By celebrating your wins, you fill yourself with gratitude. By planting new seeds, you open yourself to future possibilities. This balance, between reaping and sowing, is the gift of the equinox.

Take this moment to pause, breathe, and align yourself with the rhythm of the season. You are always both a gardener and a garden, tending, growing, and blooming in your own time.
